Citi Trends Leases 12,310 Square Feet At Hickory Plaza

Hickory-Morganton-Lenoir, NC (1888PressRelease) September 23, 2010 - Citi Trends, which offers "Trendy Fashions at Everyday Low Prices," has opened its newest store, occupying 12,310 square feet at Hickory Plaza, according to Levin Management Corporation, managing agent for the 163,251-square-foot shopping center. Citi Trends, a value-priced family apparel retailer headquartered in Savannah, Ga., operates more than 430 stores in 25 states.

"Citi Trends with its dynamic and innovative merchandising is a great addition to Hickory Plaza, highlighting the center's ongoing evolution as a value-oriented retail destination," said Dale Mulartrick, director of leasing for Levin Management. "Citi Trends' opening, coupled with the earlier expansion by Big Lots and several recent lease signings and renewals, reflects a solid vote of confidence in Hickory Plaza by both its tenants and the shopping public."

Citi Trends joins an array of retail offerings that includes Big Lots' expanded 33,055-square-foot anchor store, Save-A-Lot, Rugged Wearhouse, Dollar General, Radio Shack, H&R Block, El Paso Mexican Restaurant, and All My Friends Pet Shop. Situated at the intersection of Hwy. 70 NW and 4th Street SW, Hickory Plaza has a daily traffic count of 58,000 vehicles.
