CIS Hires Seasoned Veteran for Government Programs Team; Plans West Coast Expansion
Linda Schock takes on Director of Government Programs Consulting role and will open future CIS West Coast office.
- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) June 08, 2011 - Compliance Implementation Services (CIS), a pharmaceutical compliance consulting firm, announced today that Linda Schock has joined the firm as Director, Government Pricing and will oversee the launch of the future CIS West Coast office.
Schock brings over 20 years of industry experience which spans distribution, pricing, managed care and Government contracting, reimbursement and Patient Support Programs to her consulting role on the firm's Government Programs team. She will assist clients in understanding the impact of healthcare reform on their organizations by reviewing compliance and methodology, systems and processes, organization and financial statements, as well as oversee the company's management of Government Statutory Pricing calculations using the CalcPartner™ service line. Schock will ensure client compliance in the development of pricing calculations and strategy for all government contracts, including Average Manufacturer's Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Medicaid Rebate Per Unit (RPU) and 340B Public Health Service ceiling prices. Schock will be responsible for spearheading and expanding Government Programs Consulting efforts from CIS' new office, which will be an addition to the company's headquarters near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Raleigh, North Carolina.

Most recently, Schock was Director, Commercial Operations for NeurogesX and launched the product Qutenza®. Prior to NeurogesX she was Director, Pricing, Contracts and Reimbursement in Commercial Operations at CV Therapeutics, launching Ranexa® until its acquisition by Gilead Sciences in 2009. From 2001 to 2005 Schock was Associate Director, Distribution & Reimbursement in Commercial Sales Operations at Actelion Pharmaceuticals, launching the product Tracleer®. Schock began her career at Genentech, Inc. where she worked in commercial operations positions of increasing responsibility from 1987 to 2001, most recently as Manager, Government Contract Operations.
