- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) January 31, 2013 - Compliance Implementation Services (CIS), a leading life sciences consulting firm, today announced that it is a part of the Compliance Consulting Leaders Circle at the 10th Annual Pharmaceutical Compliance Congress (PCC), being held at the Ritz-Carlton Washington DC. The PCC brings together pharmaceutical compliance thought leaders and government decision-makers to discuss regulatory, commercial, clinical and corporate compliance program management.
CIS' Kevin Espinoza, Vice President, Commercial Consulting, moderated a panel discussion entitled "Future Enhancements and Strategic Goals of Compliance Program Effectiveness" within the Compliance Program Structure and Effectiveness track on January 29. This panel focused on the approaches being taken that increase compliance program effectiveness, from measurements and metrics to cultural transformation.
Kevin Espinoza will also lead a discussion entitled "Use of Key Performance Indicators to Improve Monitoring of Commercial Risk" on January 30. This session will address the components of a monitoring program, ways to identify the key risks to be monitored, how to move from lagging indicators to KPIs, and approaches to integrating compliance and commercial dashboards.
"With all the changes in company business models, company acquisitions and the massive trend toward provider consolidation, we're confronted with unprecedented internal and external compliance program challenges. If you consider the intense scrutiny of the government and the risks associated with disclosure, its imperative companies take every opportunity to learn from best practices and the implementation experiences of other companies," said Kevin Espinoza.
"This year's congress represents a great opportunity to listen, understand, and most importantly, have a dialogue with PCC's impressive faculty and compliance professional peers. This venue will explore all aspects of how to more effectively implement a company's compliance program."
While at the CIS booth, PCC attendees can sign up for a complimentary 30-minute confidential advisory session with a CIS Senior Compliance Expert to receive real-world, tactical and strategic information they can bring back to their organization. Whether there is a need to benchmark an idea with a professional in the compliance community or aspiration to build connections within the industry, CIS Senior Compliance Experts can assist PCC attendees with their compliance needs.
