CIS Adds Jerry Wolf as Senior Leader on Government Programs Consulting Team
Wolf takes on role as Senior Director, Government Pricing Compliance Consulting at CIS.
- Baltimore, MD (1888PressRelease) March 16, 2012 - Compliance Implementation Services (CIS), a leading life sciences consulting firm, today announced the addition of Jerry Wolf, a Government Pricing Calculations and Reporting expert, as Senior Director, Government Pricing Compliance Consulting. Mr. Wolf will oversee consulting services and support for many of CIS clients' Government Programs participation.
"Jerry brings extensive experience with pharmaceutical government pricing program requirements and assessment of risk and compliance associated with the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program and 340B Drug Pricing Program on behalf of pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturer clients and their legal counsel," said Amy VanDeCar, Senior Director, Commercial Compliance and Government Programs. "This insight allows Jerry to advise clients on the complexities of these programs as well as changes in the processes, calculations, and reasonable assumptions needed to address compliance with new requirements. Prior to joining CIS, Mr. Wolf was a Director in a specialized consulting firm's Healthcare Disputes, Compliance, and Investigations practice where he concentrated on matters related to pharmaceutical pricing, government pricing programs, and pharmacy payer reimbursement. As a registered pharmacist, his background includes over 25 years in the pharmaceutical and managed healthcare industries.
Mr. Wolf has also advised pharmaceutical manufacturers on pricing and contracting strategies, using supplemental rebates and targeting the Medicaid fee-for-service patient population. In addition, he has assisted state Medicaid agency clients with the implementation and management of Preferred Drug List (PDL) programs, multi-state pooling initiatives, and the development and management of state maximum allowable cost (SMAC) lists.
Mr. Wolf's experience with pharmaceutical government pricing programs also includes development of data validation methodologies for MDRP claims, negotiation of Medicaid rebate disputes, and participation in investigations initiated by the Department of Veterans Affairs' Office of the Inspector General, the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of the Inspector General, and the Government Accounting Office. Mr. Wolf holds professional association memberships with the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP).
