- Expanded client base to 150 companies representing more than half of the largest 50 pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies.
- Added 6 director-level hires, while also expanding staff within operations support teams.
- Opened an office in Bristol, TN, relocated to a larger office space in Philadelphia, expanded to a second floor in our Raleigh office, and added new management and staff in the San Francisco office.

2012 brought its share of challenges to the life sciences industry: pharmaceutical companies lost revenue to drug patent expirations that resulted in the looming patent cliff; the U.S. Government handed down unprecedented fines in settlements related to allegations of non-compliance; and layoffs mounted as companies tried to bring expenses in line with business growth.
The year also brought transition to the forefront as companies followed the Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act and the re-election of President Obama. The implications of these sweeping reforms were felt throughout 2012 as manufacturers prepared for and managed the uncertainty and lack of guidance surrounding the AMP Final Rule and implementation of the Sunshine Act.
