Cirque De Funk is Here to Funk it Up With The Release of Their Album "Fuse"
Cirque De Funk is fusion of music minds resulting ina rock-funk fusion album entitled "Fuse"
- (1888PressRelease) June 19, 2011 - Kyle Spurgeon and Thomas Turner were members of the drum line at East Ascension High School in Gonzales, Los Angeles. It was 2007 and after having late night jam sessions, Cirque De Funk was formed. Kyle and Thomas realized that they can continuously collaborate and bond through music. As a duo, they learned more together: Kyle became a guitarist, Thomas a bassist, and their sound and friendship got tighter. But when Kyle graduated two years before Thomas, they grew apart both personally and musically. Cirque De Funk suddenly had an indefinite hiatus.
Thomas went the acoustic route and played solo shows while Kyle jammed with other musicians, and landing a gig with a bad as its guitarist. Kyle flourished with the band for only a year and on their last show, Thomas was there to watch. Meeting again was meant to be and from there, Cirque De Funk creatively arose from the ashes. Their first musical effort, the album 'Fuse' features Kyle and Thomas as the real and much-improved Cirque De Funk for the first time, with them playing all the instruments and writing all the melodies and lyrics. Soon enough, they concocted their own music brew: rock-funk fusion.
Cirque De Funk is here now and they will make you listen. Download their album 'Fuse' at iTunes distributed by JMD Records/INgrooves (a partner of Universal Music Group).
