Circle Art At Home Is Named Exclusive Miami Beach Retailer For Knoll Home And Office Furniture
Jesse Brody announces that his contemporary furniture gallery, Circle Art at Home, has signed an exclusive retailer agreement with Knoll furniture.
- Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) July 11, 2013 - Circle Art at Home, a modern and contemporary inspired furniture and home accessories gallery in South Beach, has been named the exclusive Miami Beach retailer for Knoll home and office furniture, announced Jesse Brody, founder of Circle Art at Home. For more than 75 years, Knoll has been recognized throughout the world as a design leader and innovator that has remained true to the Bauhaus design philosophy that modern furniture should complement architectural space, not compete with it.
"Being able to add Knoll to our portfolio is truly exciting and I've wanted them in the store for years," Brody said. Echoing that sentiment was Knoll CEO Andrew Cogan at the launch of the "Tools for Life" collection. To blur this line in the collection shows a bit of our intent in our direction over the next 75 years."
Knoll has a rich heritage of working with the top design minds in the world. The new "Tools for Life" collection was created in partnership with Rem Koolhaas, the Dutch architect behind OMA, which is also one of the design teams vying to redevelop the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Landmark collaborations with architects and designers have also resulted in such iconic design as Dining Tables and the Tulip Collection by Eero Saarinen; the Barcelona Collection by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe; the Bertoia Collection by Harry Bertoia; and the Wassily Chair by Marcel Breuer.
Founded in 1938 by Hans Knoll and continued after his death by his wife Florence Knoll, Knoll has produced a long line of award-winning and museum worthy designs.
