Johnson Legal Group announces new Illinois State Bar Association appointment for its managing member.
- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) August 07, 2013 - In June of 2013, Cindy M. Johnson was appointed by Pamela H. Holderman, president of the Illinois State Bar Association, to serve a 1-year term as the secretary of the Commercial, Collections, Banking and Bankruptcy section of the ISBA.
The mission of the Commercial, Collections, Banking and Bankruptcy section is (a) to promote professional excellence in the areas of commercial law and practice, banking law and practice and bankruptcy law and practice by providing a forum for the interchange of information, experience and available materials relative to commercial, banking and bankruptcy law; (b) to provide practical information, monitor fields of interest and anticipate problems for the profession through the practice and through the review of proposed new legislation and amendments to existing legislation; and (c) to promote excellence in practice through presentation of continuing legal education programs in areas of current interest to the profession.
Ms. Johnson previously acted as the Continuing Legal Education Chair and Continuing Legal Education Coordinator for the Commercial, Collections, Banking and Bankruptcy section.
