Cincinnati Profile Revamps Brand, Management Team and Launches Online Distribution
Cincinnati publication joins forces with Cincy Chic to create online publication.
- Cincinnati, OH-KY-IN (1888PressRelease) November 10, 2010 - Cincinnati Profile Magazine announces its transformation from a print magazine to an online "digital" magazine. Having served the male business oriented reader for over 6 years, moving to the new online format makes it possible to reach more of its target audience, more frequently.
To help ensure the transition from print to digital is smooth and successful, Cincinnati Profile has joined forces with CincyChic.com, Cincinnati's online women's publication published by e-zine entrepreneur Amy Storer-Scalia. Amy will manage the sales and event coordination for the newly formatted publication. "Our success with CincyChic.com in the online market has proven that the time is right for publications like Cincinnati Profile to make the transition," Storer-Scalia said. "The combined audiences of CincyChic.com and CincinnatiProfile.com will allow us to cover both the male and female centered audiences throughout Greater Cincinnati."
CincinnatiProfile.com will continue its established successful events such as the Gentlemen of Style and Substance, held annually at Sax Fifth Avenue downtown in conjunction with the Hamilton County Parks Board, benefiting the Nature Next Door program.
To ensure the same high quality and edgy editorial content, CincinnatiProfile.com has hired Pete Scalia, co-anchor at Dayton's ABC 22 and FOX 45, to head the editorial direction of the publication as editor-in-chief. Scalia will be joined by columnists Mike Karvath, automotive, Monika Royal, music, and Will Chambers, sports. "This really is an opportunity for Cincinnati Profile to expand its reach to a larger audience across the Greater Cincinnati area," Scalia said.
Owned by ReachUSA, Cincinnati Profile has already gone through one transition successfully, having re-branded from Cincinnati Gentlemen to Cincinnati Profile two years ago. ReachUSA VP Ric Welker added "We've watched what Amy has been able to do over the past few years with her company. Working together makes perfect sense to us as she has proven she knows the space better than anyone in town. With Pete's voice and natural ability to connect quickly to our target audience, we're more excited than ever about the contribution we can make to the Cincinnati male reader. Increased frequency, the addition of video and added article resource information, the combination of Pete and Amy, as well as more local events, all add up to an easy decision for us".
Cincinnati Profile's online debut will launch on Nov. 22 and feature a holiday gift guide section and holiday themed editorial content.
