International Tractor Limited & CII session on "Doing Business with Eurasia". End Quote

(1888PressRelease) May 10, 2012 - CII has organized the launch of its publication - "Doing Business with Eurasia" on the 30th April 2012 in New Delhi. This initiative is supported by Ministry of External Affairs, Indian Missions in Eurasian Region and the local Embassies of Eurasia in India, with Ernst & Young as the knowledge partner in this Endeavour, commemorating two decades of diplomatic ties. India and Eurasian region enjoy historical bonds and warm friendship. However, this has not translated into greater economic connectivity.

Honorable Minister of State for External Affairs Mr. E Ahamed had addressed the Keynote which was accompanied by senior diplomats of the Embassies and senior members of the CII. Honorable Minister had launched the book "Doing Business with Eurasia" and impress upon the opportunities available in this region and support from Government as well.

International tractors limited (Sonalika) has also participated in this event as Co-sponsors for this important event. Mr. Rajiv Wahi President IB (ITL) also share the stage with various diplomats of Embassies, senior officials of the CII and member from the Industry. Mr. Wahi highlighted the roadmap of Eurasian mission after their dissolution from Soviet Union and their agriculture practices. He also relates the same with Green revolution in India as both economies start their actual journey on the same time. Mr. Wahi also stated Sonalika's successful activities and presence in different parts of the world.

This book Launch will be a great medium to bridge the gap and to cover the information deficit between both the regions. We hope it will go a long way towards setting a new graph of economic cooperation between India and the Eurasian region.
