Church of Scientology Nashville Launches its 2012 Seminar Program
Music industry veteran Tony Harnell hosted the first seminar of the 2012 season in the "Lift Up the Artist" series hosted by the Nashville Church of Scientology.
- (1888PressRelease) February 15, 2012 - The Church of Scientology & Celebrity Centre Nashville opened its new seminar series with Tony Harnell presenting an inside look into lasting success in entertainment.
Harnell, a recording artist, songwriter and producer, is best known as front man for the Norwegian rock band TNT for 23 years. His presentation is the first of a series of seminars featuring well-known musicians and visual artists, many of whom will fly into Nashville from Hollywood to share their insights with local artists.
"When you elevate the artist, you uplift the entire community," says Corinne Sullivan, president of the Nashville church. Sullivan says it is part of the mission of the Church of Scientology & Celebrity Centre Nashville is to help the artist, and that Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard "often wrote about the importance of the artist in society. The artist leads us into the future with vision and dreams."
On March 24, Tony Rockliff, an Internet and social media expert, returns to Nashville for a reprise of his popular seminar on how to market oneself in the music industry. Rockliff shares his expertise in SEO, niche affiliate marketing and the dynamics of Internet social community building that has made him a regular contributor at marketing conferences.
In April, film makers Bayou Bennett and Daniel Lir will make a splash in Music City by giving a seminar about how to produce excellent quality short films. Bennett and Lir produce award-winning TV spots and films, and collaborate on innovative projects for a long list of clients, including: Adidas, Indieflix, The Tennis Channel, MTV, Nickelodeon, Smashbox Cosmetics, City Harvest, Patricia Field, Chase Bank, Atlantic Records, Island Def Jam and Estee Lauder. They received the Best Comedy Award for "Text Me" at the Indie Short Film competition in 2010, and in 2009 received an award for "Around the Block," a TV pilot starring Lea Michelle of Fox's "Glee."
