Chronogram Announces Second Annual Block Party on August 16 in Kingston, NY
Chronogram magazine, launched in 1993 to chronicle life in the Hudson Valley, is bringing back the ultimate Block Party on Saturday, August 16, from 4-11pm. The Chronogram Block Party will once again take place on Wall Street between North Front and John Streets in the historic Stockade district of Uptown Kingston.

- Performances by Bishop Allen, Ikebe Shakedown, The Tins, Breakfast in Fur, Ratboy Jr., and the Rosendale
- Improvement Association Brass Band and Social Club
- Lagunitas After-hours dance party with Mambo KiKongo at BSP Kingston at 11pm
- Beer and wine garden featuring beer and ciders from Lagunitas, Keegan Ales, Doc's Hard Cider, and local wineries
- Hudson Valley food trucks including Black-Eyed Suzie's, Black Forest Flammkuchen Co., Pippy's Hot Dog Truck, Amanda's on Wheels, Arkansas Tom's Razorback BBQ, and Lakeside Licks
- Dunking booth to benefit Angel Food East

This year, the newest addition to the Block Party will be a Hudson Valley distillery tasting. Participating distilleries include: Dutch's Spirits, Coppersea Distillery, Hudson Valley Distillers, Black Dirt, Catskill Distilling Company, and others! Distillery tastings will be held from 6 - 9 pm at 302 Wall Street the new home Stockade Martial Arts. Limited tickets are available. The Block Party is a family-friendly event for Chronogram readers of all ages. There is something for everyone to enjoy-for the kids A DIY art tent, popular children's band Ratboy Jr. at 5 pm, and a dunking booth to benefit Angel Food East. For adults: music, beer and wine garden, our new distillery tastings, and an after-hours dance party with Mambo KiKongo hosted by Lagunitas Brewing Company at BSP Kingston.
