Chronicler Publishing has launched a new historical novel, Flight to the Frontier by Ruth Zavitz
Flight to the Frontier is historical novel of adventure and romance during the American Revolution (1776-1783). It is the story of Phoebe Carey, a young Quaker woman who flees to Niagara Canada to escape from the persecution by both sides during the conflict.

But the American Revolution intervenes. He leaves to join the Butler's Rangers at Niagara to fight against the rebels.
Phoebe and her Quaker parents are persecuted because of their refusal to join either side. They decide to flee to the safety of the British flag at Niagara.
Phoebe is ecstatic, sure she will find Richard there although nothing has been heard of him. She will also escape the lecherous Dilly Crossman although he vows to follow her.
As she flees to Niagara Canada she experiences many adventures and difficulties including the loss of her parents. As a result she depends on the generosity of others who help her find her true love, Richard Trevlyn.
