Freshman author Christy CeCe Chapman is on the road to success her book, 20 Thoughts Every Woman Should Have, is getting a great deal of acceptance from her local community.
- New Orleans, LA (1888PressRelease) February 11, 2011 - Author Christy CeCe Chapman is becoming a local celebrity, since the launch of her book, 20 Thoughts Every Woman Should Have, she has been asked to appear on local news shows WWLTV, 504 Source and Breakthur Magazines, WBOK1230 a.m., and Real Talk Radio Show/Crescent City. Under the guidance of program founder, Khalil Osiris, she has mentored students from TKOP, a non-profit reentry and restorative justice organization whose passion is to educate, empower, and equip people to do what Gandhi taught, "Be the change we want to see in the world!" And students from Carver High School have also benefited from her success. She received a proclamation from Senator Cynthia Willard-Lewis.
The latest honor is to have her book auctioned off at the NFL Alumni Fundraiser at The Astro Crowne Plaza Hotel on Canal Street, February 10, 2011 at 7P.M. A book signing, Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 2p.m. to 4p.m... at The Community Book Store, 2523 Bayou Road...The event is called "I Adore Thee"...
