Christiana Foglio Chosen by Own It Ventures as a Leading Woman Entrepreneur, Business Owner Finalist
Top 25 Entrepreneurs Will Be Announced at December Conference.
- Trenton-Ewing, NJ (1888PressRelease) June 15, 2012 - Christiana Foglio, founder/owner and chief executive officer of Community Investment Strategies (CIS), Inc., has been named a 2012 Leading Woman Entrepreneur and Business Owner of New Jersey finalist. Own It Ventures, and New Jersey Monthly Magazine have partnered to commend women entrepreneurs for their service, leadership and contribution to their communities and the state's economic recovery. The tribute includes a special section in the October 2012 issue of New Jersey Monthly Magazine.
"It means a great deal to me to be included among the state's most respected business women," said Foglio. "This honor recognizes all of our efforts at CIS to create high-quality affordable housing that enhances communities and creates opportunities for the people of New Jersey."
Finalists were selected by an independent committee from hundreds of entries, and judged in the areas of market potential, innovation, advocacy for women and community involvement. Finalists are then automatically submitted for phase two of the competition. Own It Ventures will be honoring the Top 25 New Jersey Leading Women Entrepreneurs for 2012 on December 6, 2012 at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
