Christian speaker hosts sixth annual 'Ready to Win Conference'
Dallas author and speaker Thelma Wells is celebrating her sixth annual 'Ready to win' Conference on Martin Luther King Day. This conference will help attendees find God in times of rain and help them to see God's unique plan despite circumstances.
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) January 10, 2013 - Dallas speaker and author Thelma Wells will hold a conference on January 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Palace Arts Center, 300 S. Main Street, Grapevine, Texas. The conference is about God's strength in hard times and the promises he makes to those who follow Him. The event is open to women and men, and offers a special program for kids and teens.
"We are living in a time of uncertainty," said Wells. "This conference aims to offer inspiration, encouragement and empowerment to help us live in uncertain times and to see that God Almighty is in control in every situation so that we can withstand all trials and tribulations that may come. We must realize that our God reigns and brings the rainbow of peace in the midst of our rain."
The conference theme, Over the Rainbow: Finding God in the Reign, opens the door to conversations about tough issues like depression, suicide, the end times and how God is in control through it all. The event will feature speakers Ken Peters, Karol Ladd, Rabbi Marty Cohen, and Kelli Lawrence. Special guests include Cindy Colangelo and Dianne Beattie, who will share their powerful testimonies. Worship will be led by the True-Lite Christian Fellowship Church worship team and Lynda Randle, Special Recording Artist, GAITHER Music, is the feature recording artist.
The Ready to Win Conference is a great learning opportunity for parents, but children are not left out of the fun. Kids, ages six to fourteen, are invited to the adjoining children's conference in the same location called Super Kids Day, directed by Sonja Samuel. Teens are invited to a special program led by Tamara LaRoux that will challenge them with scientific proof that God is the creator.
