Chris Corvino Does The Mambo With His NewAlbum
Chris Corvino's releases his latest album that's infectious and inviting one to do the mambo.
- (1888PressRelease) May 14, 2011 - Twenty-five-year old Chris Corvino is from Missouri but of Italian descent and he's been a wunderkind of music ever since he was much younger. In fact in 8th grade, his music teacher created a Male Vocalist of the Year Award especially for him! That's how much of a talent he is. In 2002, Chris started recording with Eddie aka SK and Rocky and by 2004, he linked up with Jermaine (Skylissz the Colossus) and signed with Time Is Platinum Records. And in 2009, he released his debut album 'King of the Row' which featured local artists Lavish, Flo-Good, Gator, Chase Chansas, J-Bone, and Skylissz.
Chris' album was a hit, having tracks 'Main Frame' and 'Move Part II' in heavy rotation on radio station 88.9 FM; these were even played on Y107. Soon Chris' album was available for purchase on iTunes, Napster, Limewire, Rhapsody, and Verizon Wireless. Beefing up this debut, Chris added new tracks such as 'I See It' with Chase Chansas and Skylissz, 'That Kill' with Young Tay and Devin DeVaughn, and a work-in-progress, the track 'The Getaway' featuring Jae Feeh.
One of the greatest achievements of Chris, so far, was in January 2010 - he had the big opportunity to open for actor-comedian Cedric the Entertainer in Chicago in front of a sold-out crowd in the Arie Crown Theatre! Chris was covered by Columbia's TV station KOMU-8 and he got his expected exposure. This 2011, Chris is to release his latest album titled 'Mambo', which fleshes out his Italian roots and amplifying his versatile R&B swag and singing.
Hit up Chris Corvino's music now available at iTunes distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves (a partner of Universal Music Group.)
