- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) March 28, 2025 - Choe’s HapKiDo Jefferson is excited to announce the launch of its After School Karate Program, an initiative designed to provide local elementary students with a safe, structured, and engaging after-school experience. More than just an after-school care option, this program is an opportunity for students to build confidence, improve focus, and develop valuable life skills—all while progressing on their Black Belt journey.
Meeting Monday through Friday, the After School Karate Program ensures convenience for families by offering safe and reliable transportation directly from local elementary schools in Jefferson to the dojo. Upon arrival, students are greeted with an atmosphere that encourages growth, respect, and discipline. Each afternoon is carefully structured to include time for snacks, homework assistance, and martial arts training, allowing students to stay active while also reinforcing good study habits.
At the heart of the program is Choe’s HapKiDo martial arts training, where students practice fundamental techniques, improve coordination, and learn self-defense skills in a positive and encouraging environment. As they work through the belt ranks, students gain a sense of accomplishment and perseverance—qualities that extend far beyond the mat and into their daily lives.
“In just a short time, we’ve seen incredible growth in our after-school students,” commented Owner & Instructor William Field. “They come in excited each day, ready to train, learn, and challenge themselves. Seeing their confidence build as they progress in their Black Belt journey is truly rewarding.”
Beyond the physical benefits, martial arts at Choe’s HapKiDo Jefferson emphasizes respect, focus, and leadership, making a meaningful difference in the lives of young students. Parents have already shared how the program has helped their children develop better discipline at home, improve focus in school, and build lasting friendships.
As Choe’s HapKiDo Jefferson continues to expand its reach in the community, this new program reinforces the school’s mission: to empower the next generation through martial arts.
