Chinese Delegation Visits IEEE Computer Society Office
A delegation of Chinese computing professionals visited the IEEE Computer Society's Southern California office this week to learn more about computer-related professional education, certificate, and certification programs.
- Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) December 29, 2012 - The 18 December visit by the 25 government and industry professionals from throughout China was organized by Triway Enterprise.
"This is the third delegation from China that we've hosted at the Computer Society," said Evan Butterfield, Director of Products & Services. "It's an excellent opportunity for us to not only share what we're doing for our members and the industry, but for us to hear firsthand what computer professionals in China are looking for, so we can better develop the products and services to meet their needs."
The group was primarily interested in hearing about Computer Society membership benefits, and partnering opportunities, as well as the Society's computer-related professional education, certificate, and certification programs. Computer Society Past-President Sorel Reisman was on hand to welcome the delegation.
