- (1888PressRelease) August 31, 2010 - China's plastic and plastic products industry continued to show an upward trend in the first half of 2010. The output of plastic and synthetic resin reached 21.07 million tons, up 23.21% year-on-year. The industrial profit amounted to RMB8.04 billion, up 54% year-on-year. The output of plastic products was 25.76 million tons, up 21.11% year-on-year. The total industrial profit amounted to RMB22 billion, up 55% year-on-year.
From the aspects of output, output value of new products, number of enterprises, total profit, gross margin and export delivery value, the report displays the overall operating data of China plastic and plastic products industry and its sub-sectors including plastic film, plate, pipe, profile, wire, rope and woven goods from 2008 to 2010.
Among all sectors of the plastic products industry, plastic plate, pipe and profile have the highest output, which reached 7.41 million tons in 2009 and 4.24 million tons in the first quarter of 2010, while the total profit reached RMB11.14 billion in 2009 and RMB5.4 billion in the first quarter of 2010.
