- (1888PressRelease) December 09, 2010 - A special place where learning comes alive and children thrive, Children of America Educational Childcare is a high-quality childcare service provider with well-developed key age range curriculums committed to nurturing each and every child. Welcoming children from six weeks to 12 years old, Children of America offers a safe and stimulating environment with attentive and responsible teachers that provide the support needed to help them grow and learn.
"All children deserve the very best opportunities in life to succeed physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually," said Thad Pryor, Children of America president and CEO. "Our primary focus is to engage children by offering a safe environment that is designed to encourage learning and development. We truly are committed to each child's educational achievements."
Children of America features child-friendly designs that invoke creativity and imagination. The center's fun-filled environment combines colorful play areas and learning centers developed specially for each age group program. The skilled teams of teachers are carefully selected based on their childcare experience. They undergo security screenings, have current first aid and CPR certifications and are state-qualified in childcare and education
Safeguarding Your Child
Children of America schools are designed with children in mind offering parents added assurance by utilizing numerous safeguarding programs and equipping all centers with state-of-the-art security systems. Access into the buildings is tracked by a Personal Identification Number (PIN), a code unique to each parent that signals each child's arrival or departure.
Beyond the center's borders, parents are just a click away from their children. By logging on to Children of America's Internet access program, AlwaysCloseBy.com, they can view their child's daily activities via streaming video on the Web.
Key Age Group Curriculum
Children of America's proprietary play-oriented programs foster self-esteem, self-confidence and competence in self-help skills necessary for children's social interactions while laying the foundation for reading, writing and logical thinking. Children are encouraged to discover and learn at their own pace and are encouraged to feel good about themselves and their achievements.
Developed by Dr. Vicki Folds, one of the nation's leading child development experts with 36 years of hands-on and research experience and several published childcare books, the curriculum engages young minds through a variety of tools such as Tray Tasking, an innovative activity which develops a child's hand, eye and body movements and is proven to promote early reading and writing skills. Other unique educational activities offered include Baby Signs, Spanish language lessons, Journeys into Early Music and Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening (PALS).
"At Children of America, we encourage children to learn through play," said Dr. Vicki Folds, company vice president of education and professional development. "Each of our schools provide children a safe haven dedicated to sparking imagination and igniting a passion for learning."
