- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) July 19, 2023 - Campers with a cancer diagnosis arrived at Camp Boggy Creek recently to experience the week of their lives thanks to the generosity of the Chiera Family Foundation, a Coconut Creek based organization. "The Chiera Family Foundation was thrilled to see kids who are battling cancer back enjoying their summer at Camp Boggy Creek. Seeing the smiles on their faces and watching them having fun like other kids is why we continue to raise money for this magical camp." - Lou Chiera, Board Member/Trustee

About the Chiera Foundation
The Chiera Family Foundation began as a tribute to the family’s patriarch Nick Chiera who passed away from cancer. All of their programs, N.I.C.K.’s Camp, N.I.C.K.’s Scholarships, N.I.C.K.’s Golf and N.I.C.K.’s Ice Skating are all named after their father and is an acronym for Nothing is Impossible for Cancer Kids. The organization’s annual event has since evolved into one of the area’s largest fundraisers for children and young adults who battle cancer.
