Chien Noir Films Announces Co-Production Agreement
Chien Noir Films Ltd enters first Co-Production agreement for the making of 'Dad', a human story about a man haunted from years of sexual abuse and violence as he embarks on his journey of forgiveness.
- (1888PressRelease) August 01, 2012 - Oxford, Oxfordshire - Chien Noir Films Ltd is proud to announce the signing of a Co-Production Agreement with Trebuchet Film Productions for their upcoming short movie, Dad, a drama starring James Parsons and introducing Ryan Murphy, and directed by Alan Campbell.
From new Indie writer/filmmaker Sean Langton comes Dad, a film about the story of Ryan, a man tormented by a past of sexual abuse. The hardest thing for Ryan to come to terms with is the abuse, both sexual and physical, at the hands of his father.
Finding the courage to face the man who ruined his life and reconnect with his estranged family, Ryan finds himself with one more hurdle to climb. His dad died over six months ago.
This is an emotional journey seen through the eyes of one man at his father's grave as he comes to terms with his own sexual and violent abuse and the loss of a parent.

Formed in 2012 by Brandon Smith, a veteran of the cgi animation, motion capture and games industries. Chien Noir Films has an aim to produce drama that deals with difficult issues that society finds uncomfortable. Chien Noir Films aim to engage, provoke and inspire healthy debate about issues that most people would not wish to admit exist in our world, in our street, in the house next door.
