Chicago Divorce Attorney, Michael C. Craven Recognized by Best Lawyers for 2nd Consecutive Year
Best Lawyers® employs a sophisticated, conscientious, rational, and transparent survey process designed to elicit meaningful and substantive evaluations of the quality of legal services.
- (1888PressRelease) October 10, 2015 - Chicago, Illinois : Michael C. Craven, an experienced and well-respected divorce attorney and founder of Michael C. Craven, Divorce Lawyers Chicago, was recently recognized by Best Lawyers for the 2nd consecutive year. Best Lawyers® is the oldest and most highly-respected peer review guide to the legal profession worldwide and is one of the most well-known and prominent publications available in the legal field.
"Being named as a Best Lawyer for a second consecutive year is an honor," says Craven. "There are so many distinguished and respected attorneys on this list, and I feel honored to be mentioned next to them." Inclusion in Best Lawyers® is based entirely on a peer-review rating process. The methodology is designed to capture, as accurately as possible, the consensus opinion of other leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area. The belief of Best Lawyers® has been that the quality of a peer-review survey is directly related to the quality of its voting.
The process begins by an attorney receiving a nomination for inclusion; lawyers can be nominated by anyone but themselves. Then current listed lawyers will provide feedback on the nominee's work and then this feedback is analyzed which includes an eligibility check to confirm the nominee is in good standing with their local bar association. Once this process is complete, the results are released.
"I am proud of my credentials that make me recognized and respected amongst my peers," says Craven. "My clients are often in a state of crisis when they seek my help. My goal is to understand their unique situation and not only provide my legal knowledge, but the emotional support needed as they go through a difficult time in their life. I feel my clients recognize my work and the job I do for them and knowing my peers do as well is very satisfying."
Michael C. Craven has been representing people in all aspects of family law in the Chicago area for more than 30 years. In addition to representing clients in the courtroom, Michael also solves issues using alternative dispute processes such as Collaborative Law and mediation to settle cases between disagreeing spouses. Additionally, Michael is asked to speak at Continuing Legal Education programs throughout the State of Illinois and has authored article, has appeared on television and radio, has been consulted by the print media on various family law issues, and has been quoted in various publications.
