Chicago Designers And Boutiques Join For Cirque Du Cite

Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) October 03, 2011 - Fashion can be a bit of a circus, and the public will be able to enjoy a night of fashion entertainment at the Cirque Du Cite - A Circus of Fashion on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the MID Chicago, located on 306 N. Halsted inside the West Loop.

This one of a kind event will start for buyers, press and VIP guests with an invite only shopping reception, personal styling and one-on-one time with the designers. The fashion show gives vintage boutiques and businesses the opportunity to showcase the very best of their upcoming Winter/Fall collections. From the elegance of a Parisian 1920's boardwalk to the grunged 80's of American fashion history, the show will take our guests on a history ride through vintage and redesigned fashions!

The show includes well-known and new vintage businesses all based in Chicago. Deliciously Vintage has been voted one of the best vintage boutiques in the city by CBS and The Chicago Tribune. The Saint Cru Clothing Company is a luxury-focused retailer that supplies women's designer vintage and contemporary designer brands for the stylishly chic. Lipstick Dinosaur, who's renegade styling truly sets them apart and has been featured in Nylon Magazine, Daily Candy, and the Chicago Sun Times will also be showcased. Cirque du Cite will launch reFINDefined eveningwear by redesigner and stylist Redgi Woods. Woods is founder of ImagineFashions, who's best known for work with Revamped, will head production.

Cirque Du Cite is scheduled to par-take during the biggest fashion week in the city, Fashion Focus - Chicago, which runs Oct. 17 - Oct. 23. Cirque Du Cite is slated as the vintage event of Fashion Focus- Chicago. The Cirque will include performances by musical artist RoyAl, Future Band and DJ Michael Lee. Entertainment acts will include ariel silks, burlesque dancers, and what's the circus without a ringleader?

The event's venue, MID Chicago, is a modern lounge located on 306 N. Halsted inside the West Loop. Doors will open at 7 pm for VIP event. General admission opens at 8 pm with guests enjoying a two-hour hosted bar by Belvedere. Fashion show starts at 10 pm.
