Chhagan Bhujbal Inaugurates Asia's Most Advanced Cathlab @ A.H.I. On World Heart Day

On world Heart Day, 26th September, he gave the city, the country's most advanced cath lab.
The lab has Allura Xper FD10 C interventional X-Ray System from Phillips for Cardiac and vascular interventional procedures. The features of this device is that it has unique ceiling suspended system gantry, superb image quality, MRC X Ray tube technology with unique spectral filtration and continuous sensing safety mechanism. Such technology is the Best in Cardiac Technology in the whole of Asia.
Also present on the occasion was Chhagan Bhujbal who expressed his gratefulness to Dr.Panda for taking medical facilities in the country a step forward. The state Dy.CM added that Dr. Panda, has come a long way, achieved a lot and become a national figure after successful surgery of PM.It may be recalled that Dr. Panda was honoured with 3rd highest civilian award, Padma Bhushan this year.
Present on the occasion were eminent city doctors, and Dr.Pandas team comprising the medical director Vijay DSilva, veteran cardiologist Sudhir Vaishnav and Head of Cardiology department Dr.Tilak Suvarna.
Dr.Tilak Suvarna said on the occasion that India is heart disease capital with maximum no. of cardiac cases. In the new cathlab, Mood Lighting helps reduce stress in the doctor as well as the patient.
