Cheer Channel CEO, Cindy Villarreal Named International Liaison For 5th Element Cheer
Cindy Villarreal, former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and CEO of Cheer Channel Inc. (CCI), the #1 online entertainment network for the spirit industry, was announced as the International Cheer Liaison for 5th Element Cheerleading, a cheer and dance company out of Queensland, Australia.
- (1888PressRelease) January 31, 2013 - Villarreal will be the active bridge between the world of cheer in the United States and Australia. 5th Element expects that with the help of Villarreal, the cheer company can grow within Queensland and the Australian spirit industry as an elite cheer and dance force.
5th Element Cheerleading is an All-Star Cheer and Dance company with a custom built cheer facility opening 2013-14 in Queensland, Australia. 5th Element has Junior and Senior Open Cheer teams, both co-ed and all-girls, competing at Level 3 and Level 4 Open. 5th Element also has a Tiny Cheer program for cheerleaders ages 3-5 and a Mini Cheer program for athletes 6-8, both at Level 1, and a Youth Cheer program for 11 and under competing at Level 2. Kathleen Smith, Cheer Director at 5th Element knows that bringing Villarreal into the 5th Element family will help raise the bar and propel the company and its athletes into the next level of cheer competition in Australia.
With Villarreal''s extensive background in cheerleading and experience as an ambassador in the American and international spirit world, she is the perfect candidate for the position. As International Cheer Liaison, Villarreal will provide 5th Element staff and cheerleaders with important information regarding overseas travel to the States for competitions along with key cheer trends in the United States. Villarreal will also travel to Queensland to conduct leadership seminars with cheerleaders and coaching staff as well as workshops for older athletes regarding the importance of appearance and image as an athlete, role model and cheerleader, especially in the social media. Villarreal will also provide 5th Element coaches and owners with key marketing and promotional strategies which she learned in her many years of experience marketing in the spirit industry. Villarreal also authored "The Cheerleaders Guide to Life", published in 1992. The book is filled with critical information targeted to young, developing cheerleaders including practical advice, insider tips, enthusiastic motivation, and everything it takes to become a successful cheerleader.
