Chase Bell Performs At Famous L.A. Club, Hotel Cafe

(1888PressRelease) May 03, 2013 - Chase Bell, lead singer of the international group, Chase Bell & White Licorish, gave L.A. music lovers a treat last night by doing an intimate, acoustic set at the popular music club, Hotel Cafe, in Hollywood, California.

Bell performed a 45 minute set accompanied by nothing more than his acoustic guitar, a violin, played by the very accomplished musician and composer, Darius Campo, and the smooth voice of the talented actress, and singer, Emma Bell, who is also his sister. Emma Bell is probably best known for her roles on such popular television shows like "The Walking Dead," and the reborn TV series, "Dallas," as well as other films.

Bell took the stage, one that he has now shared with some of the biggest names in the music business, in front of an audience that seemed eager to hear his deeply written, emotional songs. The setting seemed perfect for the type of set Bell gave them, which was added to by Bell's personal and laid back style that included filling them in on the background of songs he was performing. It was a nice touch and came across as if it was just him having a conversation with a friend.

"I was thrilled to play at The Hotel Cafe," Bell said after the show. "I have played a lot of other venues in L.A., but had not had the chance to play there before, so it was very nice. I see why it is one of the great places for musicians."

Bell sang several songs from his newly released CD, "Skywords," during the show and is preparing soon for a return to Italy and more work with the full band. But while here in L.A. he is expecting to do more acoustic sets at other popular music spots around town.

Bell added, "I miss my band without a doubt. But I love writing songs and performing them for crowds. It inspires me and keeps me moving forward."
