Chase Bell, International Singer-Songwriter, Releases Debut CD

(1888PressRelease) April 11, 2013 - Chase Bell, the international singer and songwriter, and leader of the Italian-based band, Chase Bell & White Licorish, released today his debut CD in the U.S. The CD, which was recorded entirely in Italy, with his all-Italian band, is a lively blend of Pop, Rock, Jazz, and connects Bell's American influences with his love of Italy, where he spends about half of his time.

Bell considers his music, and this CD, to be a connection between the Italian countryside and the center of urban America." A New Jersey native by birth, Bell now resides in Los Angeles when in the U.S. So he brings musical influences from both coasts to his style, as well as his experiences living in the romantic countryside of Italy.

"I am thrilled to be releasing this CD finally in my home country," Bell said. "The band and I have done well in Italy, where all of them live. But we all look forward to success here. Everybody wants to have their music heard in America. I think the sound will be both familiar to American ears, and also introduce fresh new styles that owe their influences to Europe."

Almost all of the songs on this debut CD were written by Bell but the band brought their own unique styles and talents to the music. White Licorish features some of the best musicians and singers found in Italy so it is not surprising they have found some success over there for their performances and music. One song off the CD, "Met Your Match," received over 100,000 votes on a popular Italian radio station. Another, "A Boy," will be featured in the movie, Life Inside Out, which will be released later this year.
