Charlie Sheen Sets New HollyStock Record
HollyStock.com, an online celebrity stock market game, today announced that Charlie Sheen has set a new record for the highest value ever attained by a celebrity in the game.

The HollyStock algorithm awards additional money based upon where the mention took place. For example, an article in TMZ or Yahoo will generate more money than a lesser-known celebrity website. Players can buy and sell celebrities like stocks on the stock market. The concept is to purchase celebrities when their values are low or on the rise and sell them when their values peak. The profit or loss of that celebrity sale impacts both the player's portfolio as well as their cash reserves. Players then compete against one another to amass the highest net worth.
The previous record of $1.1 million was held by Lindsay Lohan for the past eight months.
