He has served on the board of the Ohio Court Reporters Association, has worked with the National Court Reporters Association in both chairing and presenting at national conferences, and currently serves on the board of the National Network of Reporting Companies. In addition, Chuck presents seminars around the country which he has designed to raise the skill level of his fellow reporters, and he is a three-time winner of the Ohio Speed Cup (presently known as the Hagestrom Cup Speed Contest), which recognized him as the fastest and most accurate reporter in Ohio.

After a decade of serving as a board member for the National Network of Reporting Companies (NNRC), Chuck was elected to a three-year term as president in January of 2012.
