Chaeng Wattana Immigration Office Open For Thai Work Permit and Immigration Services
Immigration Division 1 is again operating from its permanent office at the Government Complex Center in Chaeng Wattana, in the Thai capital.
- (1888PressRelease) June 21, 2014 - Bangkok - A notice carried on the Immigration Division 1 website (http://bangkok.immigration.go.th) stated that immigration services would be open from June 2 at the Government Complex Center.
Temporary immigration offices had been set up elsewhere in Bangkok, due to the forced closure of the Government Complex Center by anti-government protestors. These offices are still providing immigration services for legalized labourers from Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia.
These two offices are located at:
• Major Hollywood Suksawat - 1st Floor, Suksawat Road, Ratburana, Bangkok
• Imperial World Ladprao - 5th Floor, Ladprao Road, Wang Tong Lang, Bangkok
Service hours are 10.30 am to 6.30 pm from Monday to Friday. The offices are closed on official holidays.
"Foreigners of other nationalities needing to visit Thai immigration for the purpose of 90 day reporting, Thai work permits, Thai visa services or other requirements can now do so once again at the Government Complex Center in Chaeng Wattana", said Apisakdi Kongkangwanchoke, spokesman for leading international law firm in Thailand, BSA Law.
The Government Complex Center immigration office is open from 8.30 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. The office is closed on official holidays.
Contact information and maps to the permanent and temporary immigration offices are provided on the Immigration Division 1 website.
