CFO Strategic Partners adds new chief financial officer in Tampa
Tim Hudson brings healthcare, pharmaceutical expertise to outsource firm.

Hudson is based in Tampa and will help CFO Strategic Partners’ with existing clients and expanding services to Tampa Bay. Whether interim full-time, long term part-time, or on demand, CFOSP provides organizations with the financial strategies, tools, and ideas needed to achieve their vision. CFOSP’s point of difference over competitors is its bench strength. The firm, headed by Shannon Carbone, also is on a mission to enrich lives.
Hudson brings 20-plus years of experience in accounting and finance leadership roles, working with companies of all sizes, including publicly traded, private, non-profit and start-up companies. He is also active in the community serving on Community Action Stops Abuse’s finance committee and is St. Pete MD Charities’ Treasurer.

He is coming to CFO Strategic Partners from CoreRx, a high-growth pharmaceutical and bio-tech company, where he served as chief financial officer. Hudson helped CoreRx’s rapid growth, including raising two rounds of private equity funding and establishing credit facilities to allow growth. CoreRx was named a “Tampa Bay Fast 50” company twice while he was CFO. Hudson was also named as a finalist for CFO of the year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal two years in a row. Other notable companies he’s worked for include: VOAF, SCI, TBH Consulting, MDS Pharma Services and HCA Northside Hospital/Medical Center.
Hudson has experience leading large accounting teams and being hands-on working with start-ups. He has worn many different hats to ensure maximum efficiencies and proper reporting.
Hudson earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Kentucky. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida. Hudson is a member of Financial Executives International and Association for Corporate Growth.
