Ceram Launches Sustainability Services
Ceram, the international materials technology consultancy, is pleased to announce that it has now formalised its offering around sustainability with the setting up of a dedicated Sustainability Team and the launch of a range of Sustainability Services.
- (1888PressRelease) September 30, 2011 - Joe Flanagan, an expert in the sustainability arena, has recently been recruited as Principal Consultant, Sustainability, to head up the new team which will concentrate on helping customers to improve profitability by reducing the costs of resources, optimising process performance and increasing consumer confidence in their green credentials.
From advising on current and impending legislation to drawing up a carbon or a water footprint, Ceram's services are geared towards looking at how resources, whether energy, water, waste or materials, can best be managed in order to reduce costs. The company is particularly focused on innovation - developing new materials, products, processes and technologies - and sees this as the key not only to a company's survival but to its ongoing success.
Joe Flanagan says:
"What differentiates us from other sustainability consultancies is our unrivalled materials knowledge. Thanks to the experience we've built up in the construction and ceramics industries, we know how to improve yields, reduce waste and increase profits for customers across a variety of sectors. Committing to sustainability is crucial if organisations are going to survive these tough economic times but it's not only a financial necessity, the consumer is demanding this too."
To discuss how sustainability can have a positive impact on an organisation's bottom line, Ceram is holding a breakfast meeting at its headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent on 4 November. Interest can be registered at www.ceram.com/seminar.
