CEO of BTI Travel to Conduct Syracuse Pops Chorus during Symphoria's "Musicals Meet the Movies." Concert
BTI Travel founder and music lover will conduct the Syracuse Pops Chorus during Symphoria's "Musicals Meet Movies" event.
- Syracuse, NY (1888PressRelease) May 14, 2013 - Lou Lemos, CEO of BTI Travel (www.btitravel.com), a vacation, business and groups travel management company located in Downtown Syracuse, is conducting the Syracuse Pops Chorus as its members perform tribute to Marvin Hamlisch, selections from Sound of Music, and Beauty and the Beast during Symphoria's "Musicals Meet the Movies" concert on Friday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m.
"I have always loved music," says Lou, founder of BTI Travel. "Eight years ago I founded the vocal group called the Syracuse Pops Chorus and have been conducting the group ever since we started."
This will be the second time this Symphoria and Syracuse Pops Chorus collaborate on a production. The other concert was the "Holiday Symphonic Spectacular" and led to the only sell out performance of the reestablished symphony.
The program features selections from the Sound of Music, The Music Man, Ragtime, Moulin Rouge, Guys and Dolls, Company and Les Mis. The quartet and the Syracuse Pops Chorus will unite under the direction of Lou Lemos.
