- (1888PressRelease) February 27, 2019 - Vienna, Austria - The Center of Ukrainian Initiatives will organize the big festive Ukrainian concert in Wiener Konzerthaus on April 23rd, 2019. TOP-class musicians will come from different countries to perform in the beautiful ambience of the Mozart-Hall.
The concert program presents European music culture and introduces you to contemporary academic Ukrainian music, including Lyatoshinsky, Dvorak and more.
"This is a grand-event of Ukrainian culture in Europe,“ said Oleksandra Saienko, founder of Center of Ukrainian Initiatives. "An evening with world premiere: for this concert in the heart of Europe, dedicated to 100 years of Ukrainian cultural diplomacy, the living legend Myroslav Skoryk has composed a fascinating song cycle. On January 24th, 1919, Ukrainian Republic Capella was founded and went on tour throughout Europe and America. In five years, the choir performed with triumph in 17 countries and ensured political recognition of the young Ukrainian People's Republic. To acknowledge this date we involved the musicians with the world-known names who will perform as a team within one evening in Wiener Konzerthaus".
