The event will include complimentary 10-minute chair massage sessions, samplings of healthy snacks and an on-site demonstration from Cindy Karas of Sassafras! Emporium of Healthy Comfort Food from noon to 1 p.m. Each Patient Appreciation Day attendee will receive an entry into a raffle taking place at the end of the event for a chance to win prizes including Cold Laser Treatments, kinesiology and nutrition consults, massage therapy sessions, acupuncture treatment packages, an Oriental medicine sampler, body care products and more. Participants who bring a friend or canned food item for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina will receive additional event raffle tickets.
