Center for Autism and Related Disorders to Host New York Autism Summer Conference Offering Parents the Latest in Effective Autism Treatment
The Center for Autism and Related Disorders has announced it will host the CARD New York Autism Summer Conference on Saturday, June 25, 2011, in New Rochelle for parents, practitioners and students.

(CARD), one of the world's largest Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) treatment centers that provides state-of-the art therapy, has announced it will host the CARD New York Autism Summer Conference on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 8 am-4 pm at the Radisson Hotel, located at 1 Radisson Plaza in New Rochelle, New York. The conference is free for all attendees, including parents, educators, medical and behavioral practitioners, researchers, and students.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 in 110 children in America is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, making it more common than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes and pediatric AIDS combined. The objective of the conference is to provide attendees with information on the most effective ASD interventions, to give attendees strategic methods that address challenging behaviors and to showcase hands-on, groundbreaking technology used to assess and treat developmental disorders.
