Hovitaga OpenSQL Editor is a tool that extends the SAP development environment with a feature-packed SQL editor that helps developers to build and test OpenSQL queries. Hovitaga Report Generator creates standard ABAP reports in minutes based on OpenSQL queries.
The OpenSQL Editor - which is an ABAP add-on that can be installed in minutes - is capable of executing any OpenSQL query and displaying the result immediately to the user. Programmers and consultants can spare a lot of time using it, since the traditional way of testing an OpenSQL query involves the manual programming of a new report in SAP, which may take a lot of time.
Handling productive incidents is also much easier using this tool. A developer can simply copy and paste the problematic SQL query into the OpenSQL Editor and see the results immediately. There is no need to execute a long string of transactions to finally arrive to see the result of the query in the debugger (which can be problematic in a productive environment).
Hovitaga Report Generator is a powerful software that helps SAP consultants and ABAP developers to quickly create simple reports. Only the OpenSQL query has to be built, no further ABAP programming is required. The source code of an ABAP program will be generated automatically, along with a transaction code, that directly executes the report. The generated report can have a selection-screen and it displays the data with an ALV grid or ALV tree. Thanks to the standard look and feel every authorized user can easily use the report.
