- (1888PressRelease) November 15, 2013 - Boston, MA - National Association for Professional Women (NAPW) Boston hosts Holiday and Charity event, Jingle Bell Rock 4 Riley at Bokx 109, Newton MA.
Bokx 109, an award winning steak house and dynamic hotspot will feature an evening of culinary delights and wine tasting on Thursday, December 5th from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. This signature event will feature an expansive silent auction and raffle of premier items to raise awareness for children born with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC).
This event takes on a whole new meaning this holiday season, as NAPW Boston welcomes Star Jones, NAPW's National Spokesperson to help raise awareness and support the 1 in every 6,000 children born with TSC.
NAPW's titled event, Jingle Bell Rock 4 Riley is coined for Riley, a beautiful, feisty 6 year-old girl who started having seizures just after her 1st birthday. Clusters of tumors sit on her heart and kidneys and also recently developed four brain tumors just before Christmas 2012. Over the past five years, Riley has worked hard to overcome developmental delays as a result of her seizures and has recently completed a new clinical trial at Children's Hospital Boston to manage her brain tumors and complications with kidney disease. She is one of too many children suffering from Tuberous Sclerosis Complex.
This year's event is sure to be memorable with our highlighted wine tasting venue, crafted culinary delights and photos taken with celebrity guest, Star Jones.
Space is limited to 70 guests. Tickets can be purchased through http://bit.ly/HLgk2o.
