The special event is being organized to recognise the efforts of the women employees who make significant contributions in both work and home.
A woman is a representative of incredible force and strength, and thus, valuing her efforts is essential. Based on the origins of the international women's day, the global theme for 2011 is equal access to education, training and technology: pathways to decent work for women.
Shuchita Garg, HR Manager, Icreon Communications said, "International Women's Day, observed on March 8 every year, is a global celebration of women. We are proud of the women workforce at Icreon; and this is what we aim to tell everyone by celebrating the occasion."
She further added, that "for the celebrations, the HR department has organized various activities and games for female Icreonians, including requesting them to wear traditional Indian attire, viz. sari. Furthermore, not leaving the male fraternity behind, a contest has been organized wherein they can share about the most inspiring women in their life."
