From fireside movies to breakfast with Santa, the resort offers a variety of activities for individuals of all ages. Plus, take advantage of the “Free 4 ‘18” package: book the best available rate for a minimum of two nights and pick your choice of one of four free options. Choose from: valet parking each day, waived $22 resort fee each day, breakfast for two one morning, or one 20-minute tension relieving massage in Arum Spa.

Toys for Tots
Thursday, Nov. 17 through Dec. 10
Drop off a new, unwrapped toy for “Toys for Tots” and receive a $10 gift certificate for use at any of the resort outlets.
Holiday Fireside Movies with Popcorn
Saturdays, Dec. 1 through Dec. 22, 7 p.m.
Each Saturday during December, gather with fellow resort guests by the pool for a festive holiday movie. Snag a seat by one of the outdoor fire pits, grab some warm popcorn and enjoy the show!
Breakfast with Santa
Sundays, Dec. 9 through 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Guests can enjoy brunch with Santa each Sunday in December at Heyward’s Restaurant and Seacrest Terrace and Patio. A photographer will be on hand to capture digital photos. The cost of brunch with Santa is $21.95 for adults, $11.95 (ages 8 to 12), $8.95 (ages 4 to 7), and complimentary for children under the age of 4 with paying adult. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 843-341-1850.
Elf on the Shelf with Sonny
Saturday, Dec. 1 through Monday, Dec. 17
The resort hosts an “Elf on the Shelf” virtual event exclusively for its Facebook fans. Fans of the resort’s page (www.facebook.com/SonestaHiltonHeadIsland) are encouraged to locate where the Sonesta Elf is hiding each day. They will need to “Like” the day’s post and post where they think the Elf is located on the resort in the comments’ section. One correct answer will be chosen daily, with all 15 daily winners becoming eligible for the grand prize of a two-night stay at the resort. The grand prize winner will be randomly selected from the 15 daily winners and announced on the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island Facebook page on Monday, Dec. 17.
Christmas Night Dinner Buffet
Monday, Dec. 25 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Enjoy a Lowcountry-inspired Christmas dinner with family and friends. Indulge in Southern favorites and delectable desserts available for $54.95 (13 years and older), $26.95 (ages 7 to 12), $10.95 (ages 2 to 6) and complimentary for children under 2 years of age with a paying adult. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 843-341-1850.
New Years Eve Dinner
Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Ring in the New Year with a special buffet at Heyward’s Restaurant followed by entertainment in Bayley’s Bar. Cap off this casual evening with an intimate ball drop in the Savanah Ballroom topped with live entertainment by Victor Solis from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Pretty Darn from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., champagne toast, and late-night appetizer menu from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
But wait! There is more. Additional events and activities will be released throughout the season including story time with Santa on Dec. 14 and 21, holiday cookie and ornament decorating on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., wine tastings and cooking demonstrations.
