Celebrate Mexican Independence Day
2010 - Double the celebration.
- Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC-SC (1888PressRelease) September 10, 2010 - Plaza Fiesta Carolinas will host a Mexican Independence Day celebration, Sunday, September 18th, from 2pm to 7pm. The family-friendly event is free of admission charges. There will be a dual celebration of the Bicentennial of two hundred years since Independence (1810) and the Centennial of 100 years since Mexican Revolution of 1910. Authentic Mexican music and dancing will be showcased. "Esencia Musical ", "Grupo Galan" and "Esencia Musical" are scheduled to appear and provide music. Also scheduled to appear is "El Alma de la Luna" and "Alejandro Galvez "to perform Mexican dances. There will be several contests so make sure you come and celebrate.

Best Mexican Independence Call (Mejor Grito de independencia)
