Cedarcube Launches With A Successful Valentine's Weekend Event
Local Essex based relationship Social Enterprise, Cedarcube hosted over 150 guests and supporters in a night of love, fun and Hollywood glamour for a fabulous red carpet event. A truly enjoyable evening of delicious food, drinks, performances and laughter, was offered as part of the new and unique Cedarcube Relationship Service launch event.
- (1888PressRelease) February 18, 2016 - The evening was hosted by the captivating Model, Actress and Style Icon Corinne-Tuddenham Trett, who conducted the entertainment games, including a love themed quiz and the hilarious 'How well do you know your Partner'. Winners went home celebrating with cakes from the Pretty Gorgeous Cake Company, Room sprays, Scented candles from Guyang and the embroidered silk fabric from Designer I.Kollection.
Many couples, as well as singletons dressed up to the nines and came out to support Cedarcube's glamorous event. There were resounding and engaging speeches from the Founders, Ihuaku Nweke and Joyce Obaseki, who talked about how they started the concept of the Cedarcube, how they met each other, their partners and how they plan to help couples in achieving a fulfilled relationship by offering advice and support, as well as plan to help singletons find and sustain meaningful relationships through the service that Cedarcube offers.
Founders Joyce Obaseki & Ihuaku Nweke proudly say: "Our online users know who we are and what we represent and hopefully we have given birth to a reliable and trusted brand, when it comes to relationship services. We are hoping all the singles who attended will go online and register and tell their friends about it!"
Visitors of the Red Carpet Launch event were able to mingle with likeminded individuals, whilst enjoying beautiful blue note Jazz music from the Jazz Band 'Love For Sale', who also serenaded them through a sumptuous three course banquet of pink salmon, lamb and chicken with rice, noodles and potatoes, washed down with a glass of red or white wine.
X-Factor Finalist 2015, Kiera Weathers captivated the audience with beautiful renditions of Adele's 'Somebody Like You' amongst others. Ruth Alao, a family Lawyer and part of the advisers on Cedarcube's expert advisory panel, gave an engaging talk on the 'How to keep your relationship sweet'.
The event was honoured by several dignitaries, including the Mayor of Enfield Cllr Patricia Ekechi, who oversaw the toast, Cllr Tunde Ojetola and Bishop Paul Fadeyi, who conducted the opening prayer.
Also in attendance were Channel 4's First Dates' Colin Chapman, Presenter Lara Adegbenro, from Ben TV and the lovely Miss British Beauty Curve 2014 Emily Blake.
When asked about a female body image and how it affects dating in 2016, Emily Blake responded: "I just love to dance and have fun, I just run on a positive attitude and I stopped caring about being judged and just made the decision to do what makes me happy. Smile! That would be my advice for everyone'.
Ihuaku Nweke, Co-Founder Cedarcube added: "I think the event was extraordinary! The feedback we got after the event was awesome. We definitely surpassed the guests' expectations, who said they have never been to anything like this before. The atmosphere was eccentric, music, food and wonderful guests and requested this to become an annual event. This was our first event and yet well attended - that is certainly a positive factor and encourages us to want to pull together more events like this. It was great and truly an honour to have the Mayor of Enfield along to help us spread the message!"
All in all, Cedarcube really did go out with a bang and the post-event feedback received was exceptional. Goody bag sponsor Cakes by Aida said: "This is by far the best event I have ever been to".
