CD Bioparticles Announces Iron-based MOFs (Fe-MOF) to Support Research
CD Bioparticles announces the launch of Iron-based MOFs (Fe-MOF) to support drug delivery research.
- (1888PressRelease) May 22, 2021 - CD Bioparticles, a leading manufacturer and supplier of various drug delivery products and services, recently expands its Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) materials portfolio with the launch of Iron-based MOFs (Fe-MOF) to support drug delivery research and help scientists solve challenges they might meet. These new MOFs can be possibly applied in various fields including drug delivery, gas adsorption and separation, catalysis, and sensing and detection.
CD Bioparticles' customized metal organic frameworks are featured with various material formats and chemical composition and can help researchers to solve problems in the project, like limited MOF options in the market for different applications, tedious processing and formulation and limited facilities for large production yield with consistent quality control. These high quality materials are fine tuning MOFs for industrial applications, and CD Bioparticles can supply highly-porous, suitably robust, shaped MOFs that are tailored to researchers' applications, such as membrane separation, sensors and biotech feasibility studies under real conditions.
In this release, various products can be found at CD Bioparticles, such as F-free MIL-100 (Fe), MIL-88B-Fe, NH2-MIL-101 (Fe), NH2-MIL-88B (Fe), PCN-250(Fe), and PCN-600 (Fe). For example, the PCN-600 (Fe) (CDM-CH266) that can be used in gas adsorption and separation, and catalysis, the brick red crystals, are elongated rod-shaped particles and are stable in air, aqueous, weak acid and weak basic solution (PH 2-12). Researchers are accessible to highly-porous, suitably robust, shaped materials as they need at CD Bioparticles.
"CD Bioparticles has strong and broad expertise and over years of experience in the drug delivery field. We own an efficient and productive MOF-based adsorption system to enable researchers gain more reliable results based on their choice. We're glad to help our customers to optimize the formulation and function based on specific biologics and small organic molecules, and it is important that such highly reliable solutions are available to enable our customers to gain more," said Prof. Jeffrey A. Depaul, M.D., the chief scientific officer of R&D department of CD Bioparticles.
"Our mission is to become the best partner of choice for drug delivery research, particularly in formulating challenging compounds with liposomes, polymers and other novel nano-enabled delivery technologies. CD Bioparticles' MOFs materials have many advantages, such as cost-effective MOF manufacturing at scale. we have wide coverage of the MOFs and customers have free choice of building blocks, and we'll continue our work to bring the highest quality MOFs materials to the world's life science community," said Dr. Robin J. Watts, the scientific officer of R&D department of CD Bioparticles.
