CBT College Brings the Miami Food Truck Craze to West Kendall
Gourmet Food Trucks invade the West Kendall campus of CBT College for a "Way Out West" festival for game two of the NBA Finals.
- (1888PressRelease) June 03, 2011 - Miami, FL - CBT College (College of Business & Technology), an academic and career institution based in Miami, Florida operating five campuses in the greater Miami-Dade area, announces the first of many food truck festivals to be held at the college, "Way Out West with CBT College" is set for Thursday, June 2nd from 6 to 11p.m. The truck rally will be held at the school's West Kendall Campus located at 8765 S.W. 165th Avenue and is being sponsored by the Burger Beast (http://burgerbeast.com).
As the gourmet food truck craze continues to trend all over the country; fanatics here in Miami, Florida urged CBT College to use their amazing facilities and open field to bring the trucks to West Kendall. Previous festivals can be found at http://miamifoodtrucks.com/category/events.
"The events being hosted by CBT College have become such a huge hit at our campuses all over Miami that we decided to host even more diverse and engaging events a few times a year at our different locations," says Daniel Saavedra, Social Media Strategist and Event Manager. The "Way Out West with CBT College" food truck festival will feature such staples as Latin Burger, Frita Man, GastroPod, Muscle Truck, Purple People Eatery, Sugar Yummy Mama, Wing Commander, and many more. Guests can also watch the Miami Heat take on the Dallas Mavericks as game two of the NBA Finals will be aired on a HUGE SCREEN for all to enjoy while dining under the stars. Meanwhile, the West Kendall campus of CBT College will be also open to the public for an Open House. Guests may be able to stop see live demos, sit in on classes in session, learn about the degree programs and meet with faculty and staff. There will also be a Bounce House for the kids.
