Andy Crane, CEO of CBH commented: "I am pleased to announce that CBH has gone live using Eka's trading system. This is a very important project for us, as Eka's modern, integrated platform for commodity management will position us well to manage risk and further growth. A key ingredient for this success is the close collaboration between the internal CBH teams and our Eka colleagues. I thank the Eka team for their professionalism and commitment throughout the process. CBH is looking forward to reaping the benefits of this implementation, and continuing to work with the Eka team."
Manav Garg, founder & CEO of Eka said: "We are thrilled that CBH Group has begun to use Eka's CTRM solution. As a specialist software house focused on global commodity markets, we are well positioned to enable firms like CBH Group to benefit from a complete, end-to-end solution, which manages the entire agriculture trade lifecycle."
Mapped precisely to the work-flows of specific commodity classes and business segments, Eka's CTRM software enables trading firms to run efficient operations while minimising their exposure to the transactional and financial risks associated with buying and selling physical commodities and maximising profits by having a real-time, unified view across all data.
The Eka CTRM platform at CBH provides advanced functional features for physical contracts, trading, position ticket management, settlements, cost of goods (COG), risk and exposure positions, derivatives trading, P&L calculations, as well as advanced logistics scheduling features. Eka is an intuitive, web-based application with an easy-to-use interface which means that the learning curve is short and the benefits of the system can be realised quickly.
