Catholic Family Services of Simcoe County Welcomes New Executive Director

Starting January 7th, 2013 Catholic Family Services of Simcoe County (CFSSC) welcomes a new Executive Director, Wanda Rae. Wanda brings with her twenty years of leadership, social service and clinical work experience. Rae also has a strong educational background in Social Work and Social Service Administration. (1888PressRelease) January 18, 2013 - The new Executive Director joins the organization from the Canadian Mental Health Association in Simcoe County where she was the Director of Treatment Services. Prior to that Wanda worked in several capacities during her twenty years at Family and Children Services of Guelph and Wellington County. Throughout this time Wanda developed strong skills in crisis response management dealing with high risk and complex cases.

Receiving her Master of Social Work and Graduate Diploma in Social Service Administration from Wilfred Laurier University, Rae is well versed in the types of services offered at CFSSC. Wanda has also been a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers and Social Service Workers since 1995.

Rae's hands on work experience in Social Services coupled with her education in Social Work makes her the ideal fit for Catholic Family Services of Simcoe County. Wanda values strong community partnerships and continual professional development. In her new role, she hopes to foster the relationships that the organization already has in place while welcoming new partnerships as it continues to grow within Simcoe County.
