Catholic Family Services of Simcoe County Offers Community Support After Local Tragedy
Catholic Family Services of Simcoe County (CFSSC) will be offering support to the Alliston community in light of the recent tragedy that claimed three lives on January 13.
- (1888PressRelease) January 19, 2013 - The organization specializes in critical incident response and professional counselling to individuals, couples and families living in Simcoe County regardless of religious or spiritual affiliation. These services are provided on a sliding fee scale based on household income and family size.
CFSSC has been active in Alliston for over 20 years. The organization opened the Walk-In Clinic in 2011, operating on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. On January 29th CFSSC will be providing an additional Walk-In Counselling Clinic at the regular location in Alliston at 233 Church Street from 1 - 7pm. According to Wanda Rae, Executive Director of CFSSC, "We are saddened by the recent event in Alliston and hope to support our community as they mourn this loss. At our Walk-In Clinics those in need will be offered comfort, support and assistance during this time of grief."
