Caterpillar and Mascus, two renowned names on the heavy machinery and equipment industry, are pleased to announce that their cooperation is going to last for another year. Caterpillar and Mascus signed the contract in October 2010 and used the online portal to link potential clients to a wide range of the equipment for sale worldwide.

Caterpillar and Mascus signed the agreement in October 2010 and used the online portal to connect potential clients to a wide range of the equipment for sale worldwide.
The prolongation of the agreement is the result of a successful six-month cooperation with Mascus. Since December 2010, Mascus has managed to have 175,000 online ads placed on their portal and about 3500 companies advertising from all around the world. More than 2 million unique visitors enter the site each month and the company has a presence in 39 countries worldwide.
The Sales Director, Rickard Petersson states that he is delighted with the cooperation between Caterpillar and Mascus and he thinks that the success of that endeavor shows just how important a truly global Internet portal is in that industry. "Our strong online presence and Caterpillar's globally recognized brand is a powerful partnership that promotes international trade on an unprecedented scale. Caterpillar - a renowned brand presented online
Caterpillar has already strongly marked its presence online and acknowledges the crucial role of an Internet portal as the part of its marketing strategy. Caterpillar uses Catused.com as their main internal platform and at the same time a way to reach consumers. Combining that with Mascus, a marketing channel that reaches new markets, means that the users will be capable of accessing Cat used equipment inventory for sale all around the world. It's also beneficial for CAT dealers around the globe as they will still have their inventory published on Mascus to reach the audience worldwide.
